What am I? Who am I? Where am I?

My photo
ART is a powerful LANGUAGE. It communicates to everyone and anyone. It has the ability to depict personal emotions as well as concerns unknown to anyone in the most truthful manner but yet on the other hand, not being literal which therefore allow the audiences to perceive it in accordance to their knowledge. The face has always been an interesting form to me as everyone has got his/her own face. Often, the face shows the history and background of oneself. To put up a front, to disguise, to apply make up are examples of self concealed. One will recognised the smiling face of a man constantly throughout my artworks. Some wonders if the smile is a reflection of complete joy, in a state of total denial or maybe to disguise anxiety. Perhaps it is a reflection of total pleasure or yet it might just be the laugh of an idiot. By restricting my style, I self imposed limits, allowing communication to audiences on a wide subject.

Its been a great half of the day spent.

Things that bring a smile to my face this very day would be:

Early morning having good, nice, sweet coffee

Finishing up my work

Cooking and having a wonderful lunch

Surfing the net

Well, it all may seem ordinary (almost like any other day), but still, nonetheless, it felt great. Really good! Exceptionally nice today! guess it must have been because i got up on the right side of the bed (even though there's only one side of the bed that allows me to get off while the other faces the wall), oh.... but well, lets give it some credit still yea ? :D

Finally, tml is the end off all assesment! it can somewhat finally conclude this whole year's journey. Looking back at the time spent here, i cant helped but feel amazed! it passed soooooo fast! It definately was fulfilling for me (contentment is the word), life experiences (staying alone,w/o any family members by my side in a foreign land), getting to meet different peeps from different walks of life and finding something in common. Wow! It had been a wonderful journey for me, at least,.

Things that etched deeply in my mind and will be remembered when i look back in future would be:

Trip to sydney- Good company and food (Fish market)

Thredbo- Skiing in Winter, up in the mountain

Kangeroo Valley- Canoeing, camping trip

On the other hand, Its only going to be another few more days before heading back to singapore. Its great but then again, there are a whole lot of things to be done when home. And not to mention, accountability starts all over again. Its something i am not really good at, i guess. But oh well, i'll just have to get through it.

*Keeping my fingers crossed* for tml assesment.

Best of luck for all who are having their exams these few days! :D

A Day to Rmember

It was indeed a fabulous day yesterday! In my heart, i really do hope time would freeze at the instant and not come to an end.

Had my final year critique for my major yesterday. I was very glad and happy with the set up as well as comments from each individual lecturer. It isn't as "scary & harsh" as it makes out to be. Patsy, Peter, Waratha and most importantly, sasha, they few really make this journey in semester 2 wonderful for me. Especially sasha, no amount of words can describe how much i appreciate everything she did for not only me but to everyone. She is good, no doubt about it!

After critiques, i was thankful to have james around, Always Thankfully to have met him. He pick me up from home to school, drop off my stuffs, and waited till i ended my critiques and came back to pick me up. With him around, there is nothing i need to be worrying about, absolutely nothing! After picking me up, we went down to Maccas and had some drinks and fries over chats. It was a deep sharing and there was no doubt that each individual takes lots of courage to spill out evreything, things that we, ourselves, couldnt face it, couldnt speak of it, and definately, tears flowing but it was still good. I am glad that he understands and he doesnt judge me for it and indeed, he is a true friend who stands by me. Im really really happy and blessed to have met him in my life.

When all are done, he send me back home. After which met up with a friend. It was the most memoriable and enjoyable time during the whole day for me. It brings warmth to my heart and its something i do tresure it everytime i have it. Know that you always matter, dont doubt it.

All in all, Things went really well yeaterday! Happy Feelings still lingers around up till now, which really make my day. Make me smile brightly and feeling all so blessed!

Cheers

How should i go about saying this....

oh well. . .

This very morning, I woke up feeling a little "lost". The usual "self" just felt neither here nor there. It seems like im missing out of something when i woke up- which took me a while to think and reminisce about it.

Artworks. . .

Been a busy week catching up with assignments and stuffs. One good thing happen was that i sent my work back to singapore, one of the gallery, for the alfresco- landscape exhibition. As it was my first time sending works oversea by myself, naturally there'll be hiccups along the way which i thought was good for me. at least i get to learn things and problem solving along the way. bought insurance on it and sent by express international courier which takes 2-4working days. was quite happy and glad that the fellow over the counter help me out much. Thank you to whoever it was ! :P oh well, things been going on smoothly which im quite sastified about it. Be it issues with my boy, work and home, everythings going on well. thats good!

Cheers~

Fustrating !

I understand you are concerned about alvin and me (our relationship). However, it would do me alot of good should you not get involved in our issues. Its not that i dont appreciate it, but there are things i would want to keep it just between me and alvin. I do not wish to have to account to you, explain to you whatever is going on. I will let you know everything when issues have been solved or passed and not at the instant when it occured! Im equally confused and am trying hard to straighten things out.Nothing is coming out even if you get involved in it. Nice guy doesnt mean its good for me.

Form my point of view:

I need him to learn to respect my privacy. Going into my account and viewing info/ messages is not what deemed right. Im fustrated when he keeps probing non stop about the same issues he have asked thousands of times, which ive given him my explaination! Should he not buy my explaination then dont ask! Should he ask then dont doubt. Should he still have issues to clarify, i'll be more than willing to explained. But it seems to me that he's so wishy washy, keep harping on the same issues over and over again, which really pissed me off. He can call me selfish or whatever, but i believe everyone needs some time alone, a reasonable amount of personal time. I want to keep a part of myself to just me, myself and melinda. I do not know if he understand what it means! but its just a part of me that i do not wish to share with anyone else. I had never once said he didnt do enough for me,in actual fact, he did more than enough for me. I appreciate every single thing he did for me. I truely do!
